Supplier company to the caravan industry

BUNAWI supports a supplier to the caravan industry in setting up and establishing sustainability management over the course of several years. We set up a sustainability team, developed a mission statement and published the first sustainability report. Today, the company has a marketing-oriented sustainability brochure and the topic of sustainability has been deepened in all areas of the company.

Challenge

The business owner wants to promote the topic of sustainability in an industry in which sustainability has so far hardly played a significant role.

Approach

We established a sustainability team consisting of quality management, human resources and environment/work safety, as well as a larger executive committee and project management. We developed a mission statement that takes sustainability into account and launched the first sustainability report. In preparation for the certification of management systems, we established a software-supported legal register incorporating corresponding internal processes.

 

Solution

For the first time, the company has a mission statement and a sustainability report as well as a marketing-oriented sustainability brochure. The certification of a quality and environmental management system has been initiated. The support effort for consulting has been reduced to a few hours per month.
